Can an employer force me to use my pto if closed due to unforeseen circumstances?

Provider is pregnant and may go early if this happens we will be closed until replacement comes at a later date. Do I have to use PTO to get paid or is there a chance they should pay me regardless due to unforeseen circumstances and it not my personal time
