How can I get my money back?

a relative was having a baby shower, and I asked the mom (I"ll call her Emily) what the couple needed the most for the baby. (i didn't want to spend money on something they don't really need) She said she PROMISED the mom to be a bassinet. I was at a baby store when I called her and she says "how much are the bassinets there?" I said "woah..like a hundred some dollars". She's like man that's expensive I said, well if that's something they really need, do you want to go in on it together half and half. She was so excited, and she said "oh good! I promised her I would get her one". The baby shower was the nxt day and she is like" I don't have time to get one, so can you just get it and I'll just give you the money?" I am like sure. So I find one that was reasonable it was $120. I bring it to the shower, and they present the mom2be with it saying: "this is from the Emily and me..and aunt so and so, and grandpa". So, I guess two other people wanted to go in on the bassinet. So, I am thinking Great! The cost will be split up even more. That's good for everyone. So as I am leaving and I approach Emily and she is like "oh I don't have the money with me, how can I get the money to you?" I'm like "do you have a checkbook?" she's like: No. Her sister who was going in on it too was there and she's like I don't have the money with me, and suprise suprise, neither does the grandpa. I live out of town, and came specifically for the shower. So I gave her my bank name and my address so she could deposit it when "everyone got the money all together" as in, everyone was still mingling at the party and too busy to fish in their wallet and hand me money. So, I left. The party was on Jun. 11, and come monday the 13th I wait for a deposit. Nothing. Tuesday 13th rolls around, I text her to see if she has my bank info. She does, except now she says her sister is waiting for a check to come in the mail. She reassures me it will get done. 2 more days go by. Nothing. I text, saying that I don't have it in my account yet. She says, I gave my portion to my sister to put into your account and she still hasn't put it in? let me call her. So, I say OK. Still today, nothing! It's June 23rd. I Can't believe it's taking them this long. If they didn't have the money, then don't say you want to go in on it. Not that I cared about it before, but they are taking "credit" for a gift they didn't buy, and I am stuck with the BILL and the only reason I bought it was because I could only AFFORD 1/2. I was only planning on spending a $50 tops on my own, because I knew she was going to reimburse me. What would you do at this point?
