Can a community college be sued?

You can't sue the school for what you CLAIM they told you. I PROMISE they did NOT say in writing you would receive ANY aid before they saw the FASTA. As the PURPOSE of changing the school code is so they will receive a copy on the FASTA. Either you are lying, or you have no proof they lied. There is a 99% chance you DON'T qualify for financial aid. Even if the FASTA says you can't afford tuition without financial aid, actually qualifying for aid is a separate issue.
